Three new pieces have been posted on the Portfolio page and Pet Persona's gallery page!
The first is an illustration featuring a giraffe and an anchovy, characters from a story a friend of mine is working on. This fun duo was painted in the more stylized manner I've been using a lot more lately for my illustration work (more on that at a later date).
If you've been following my blog, you'll probably be familiar the next two paintings. One is a montage painting of Red Pullets (at least I think that's what they are) I completed back in June. This painting was inspired by a photograph I took of a rooster while visiting a small farm. The rooster had such a cool looking head that I was compelled to paint it.
The final painting I posted on this blog and my Facebook page at the end of last month and features a cat named Puka (who is still up for adoption and looking for her forever home - more info here). This painting will be available for sale in the near future, with the proceeds going to Precious Paws of New York so that they may continue to help homeless cats find their forever homes.
And that does it for now. Be on the lookout for more new work. And for anyone interested in seeing my process, you can follow me on Facebook where I'll be posting the step by step process I go through when creating a new painting.
Ciaos for now.
